At Birdcall, located at 2905 Pearl St, Boulder, CO, the experience transcends a typical chicken restaurant. Patrons rave about the quality and flavor of their food, particularly the mouthwatering sandwiches. Beata McKee's review highlights the boldness of the “triple heat” sandwich, describing it as beautifully delicious, albeit intensely spicy. For those seeking milder options, the kid's meals, including gluten-free nuggets and chicken tenders, receive accolades for both taste and value, making them a fantastic choice for families. The ambiance at Birdcall is notable—clean and welcoming, as stated by Jenifer Ortiz Rojas, who praised the attentive service from staff members like Pedro and Adrian. Customers frequently mention the friendly and efficient staff, exemplified by Marissa Strickland's positive experience with Chris and Jacob. The efficient ordering system, albeit kiosk-based, does not detract from the quick service or delightful food. The milkshake selection, including options like Banana Cream Pie and Cookies & Cream, further enhances the dining experience, inviting visitors to linger after a satisfying meal. Birdcall’s commitment to quality, service, and community engagement solidifies its standing as a beloved dining destination in Boulder. With consistent positive reviews, it’s clear that Birdcall is not just about food—it’s about fostering a warm and inviting experience.

I love spice but whoa! The triple heat is the spiciest sandwich I’ve ever had. Mouth on fire. Delicious! I don’t love the kiosk option but the food is amazing. Update: 20 minutes into my meal and my nose is running uncontrollably and I’ve lost all feeling on my lips, in my mouth and throat. So good.

Really good sandwiches. Some staff that work there helped me choose the sandwiches and I really liked them. I think their names were Pedro and Adrian. They were really patient with me. They Lobby is really clean and warm.10/10 would recommend.

Birdcall, in Whole Foods, is fast, easy and delicious! I wanted to try the monthly special, Chili Verde, with the chili mayo on the side. Their nice employee was happy to accommodate me and with a smile!

Super easy clean process, really delicious and consistent food, but the service makes the biggest difference here! Staff member w/ tattoos was extremely kind and professional.

Adrian and team are awesome! Definitely one of the best service experiences I’ve had. They went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Thanks for all the help and the delicious sandwich! These guys rule.

Tried out Birdcall on Pearl Street and ordered two chicken sandwiches: the seasonal K-POP (10.25) and their signature Rancher (9.50). The K-POP sandwich had a fun, fresh twist with Korean BBQ glaze, gochugaru spice, scallions, and kimchi coleslaw. It was definitely flavorful and crispy, but probably a one-time try for me—not something I'd go back for. Now, the Rancher was the real winner. Loaded with crispy chicken, bacon onion jam, white cheddar, and their Bird-B-Q sauce, it was juicy, saucy, and hit all the right notes. It was so good it felt like a guilty pleasure worth repeating. Both sandwiches were hot, steam-piping fresh, and delivered an impressive crunch. They're large enough that you really don’t need any sides like fries. Birdcall operates on a self-service model. You order and pay at touchscreen kiosks, then pick up your food from the pickup counter. It’s quick, efficient, and keeps things simple.

I HIGHLY recommend this place! You can tell they really care about the food and customer service. Adrian and Jose are top tier! Everything they do is with goodwill and passion. The food is amazing and fresh. The service is always awesome. My daughter and I always stop here when we are downtown and if it were up to her we'd come here everyday. Will continue to support them as often as I can and hope others will too!!
